Mustang Aviation was built on hard work, trust, and doing things the right way.
Founded in 1990 as Capital City Air Carrier, the company began with a clear focus: serving operators with professionalism, reliability, and safety. Over the decades, we have grown alongside the aviation community in Pierre and throughout the Midwest.

From Capital City Air Carrier to Mustang Aviation
In 2011, the company was rebranded as Mustang Aviation, a name that reflects both our geography and our identity, where the Midwest meets the Wild West. Practical, independent, capable. What started with fixed base operations and cargo has expanded into a full aviation platform. Today Mustang Aviation provides charter services, aircraft maintenance, flight training, and complete ground support for a growing base of regional and national operators.

Today our operation supports a diverse mix of piston, turboprop, and business aircraft operating throughout the Midwest.
